In my opinion, there are different levels of (scary) geekiness. For example:
Video Games: Low
Card Games: (Such as Munchkin and Fluxx) Low
Board Games: Low- High, depending on game. (Catan, Apples to Apples—Low. Starcraft: The Board Game—High.)
MMOs: Medium (or High, depending on game)
Dice-Based RPGs: Medium to High.
TCGs: High
Costumed Vampire LARP: Extremely High
I’ve always fallen into the Medium-High shades. I’ve occasionally strayed into “High,” but now I have to admit, I’m officially in the “High” zone again.
I’ve bought a mini.
Just one, and there’s no way I’ll ever find myself commanding little pewter or plastic armies with point values (Which would officially upgrade my status to “Extremely High” permanently), but it is a mini. It’s a privateer press mini from their Iron Kingdoms Full-Metal Fantasy line (apparently the name of the “character” is Valeria Alvaro) but I’m using her as my Character for a Serenity game.
This is what the character colored their way is supposed to look like.
Personally? I think she could look better.
This is what I have to work with:

Paintbrushes and I have always had an unsteady (literally) relationship. I’m also VERY picky about my art. So whatever possessed me to think this would be fun?
Here starts: The Mini Chronicles.
